The ISSI is in the process of setting up a India Study Centre (ISC) as part of Institute’s efforts to conduct focused research and dialogue on issues of concern and interest to Pakistan. Many of the foreign and security policy challenges for Pakistan emanate from India and warrant in-study and analysis.  With profound geo-political changes occurring across the landscape of Asia, India is assuming an ambitious and hegemonic agenda in the region. Internally India is going through a phase of rising Hindu nationalism, with deepening concerns for its minorities. The ISC will complement the work being done by other two centers of the Institute: CPSC that focuses on Pakistan’s relations with China, and ACDC which deals with issues of arms control and strategic stability.
