In-House meeting with a delegation from the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES)

The Centre for Afghanistan Middle East and Africa (CAMEA) at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) hosted an In-House meeting with a delegation from the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES).
The delegation included: Mirco Günther, Head of the Asia & Pacific Department, FES Berlin; Benjamin Reichenbach, Desk Officer, Asia Department, FES Berlin; Dr. Niels Hegewisch, Country Director, FES-Pakistan and Hamayoun Khan, Programme Advisor, FES-Pakistan.
During the meeting, Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, Director General ISSI briefed the delegation on the workings of ISSI. Ms Amina Khan, Director CAMEA, first gave a presentation on the working of CAMEA and then talked about the situation in Afghanistan. The two sides also discussed Pakistan- German relations and the Russian- Ukraine conflict.
