New Delhi: The foreign secretary-level talks with Pakistan scheduled for the middle of this month looks in serious jeopardy with strong indications that the Modi government may call off the engagement if evidence emerges that Pakistan’s state actors were complicit in the fidayeen raid on Pathankot’s air base.
“All options are open and we will not flinch from taking a hard decision if one is warranted by our assessment of whether Jaish terrorists were acting at the instance of official agencies in Pakistan,” a top-level government functionary said here on Sunday.
