Congress questions rationale of resumption of Indo-Pak talks

New Delhi: Congress said Exetrnal Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj’s statements after talks with Pakistan had put a question mark on Modi government’s policy of engaging the neighbour. It asked why was the Centre accommodating Pakistan to the extent of assuring it that talks would be carried out at the pace convenient to it.

AICC spokesman Anand Sharma said Swaraj’s remarks showed that Modi dispensation was without a roadmap or strategy to deal with Pakistan.
