ISLAMABAD: India’s claim of arresting a ‘Pakistani suspect’, who their sensationalist film-style news media termed ‘Kasab 2’, has turned out to be false as reports have shown that the accused in custody belongs to the Indian-held Kashmir (IHK) district of Kulgam and is mentally incapacitated, Geo News reported.
The young man arrested from Udhampur for his involvement in an attack on a convoy of the Indian security forces is a resident of IHK. Senior journalist and anchor for Geo News programme ‘Capital Talk’ Hamid Mir said the young man was a resident of Ghat village located in Kulgam district of IHK near the Jhelum River.
