GREATER NOIDA: In an indication of the government’s willingness to stay engaged with Pakistan if the neighbouring country acts against perpetrators of the Pathankot attack, home minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said there was “no reason to distrust Pakistan so early”.
“The Pakistani government has said it will take effective action. I think we should wait,” Singh told reporters on the sidelines of a function here.
Singh cited press reports which said Pakistan had arrested some persons in connection with the attack and had also set up a high-level team to look into the evidence provided by India.
