ISLAMABAD: Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday said ties between India and Pakistan must improve and move forward.

Swaraj, who arrived here on Tuesday to participate in the Heart of Asia Conference, said she had come to attend conference because it was being held in Pakistan and was related to Afghanistan. “Therefore, it has significance for India,” she added. Talking briefly to the media upon arrival at the Nur Khan Airbase, the Indian external affairs minister said she was looking forward to meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and her counterpart Sartaj Aziz. Efforts would be made to bring normalcy in the bilateral relationship, she added.
