ISLAMABAD: Regretting the recent acts of aggression on the eastern borders of the country, President Mamnoon Hussain has made it clear that Pakistan desires a peaceful coexistence with India and resolve all problems, including Kashmir, through talks but any threat to its security would be thwarted.

He was addressing a flag hoisting ceremony to commemorate the 69th Independence Day here on Friday at the Jinnah Convention Centre where Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, other services chiefs and a large number of people belonging to a cross section of the society were present.
