ISC-IRS Discussion

The India Study Centre (ISC) at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI), organized a bilateral discussion in conjunction with the Institute of Regional Studies (IRS) on topic “India’s National Narrative-Building” on September 22, 2022 at 1100 hrs at its premises.
The discussion was attended by the DG ISSI, Amb Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, President IRS Amb. Nadeem Riyaz, and Dr. Arshad Ali, Director ISC along with concerned researchers from both the institutes. Mr. Kasim Masood, Research Associate at ISC gave a presentation on the topic, “India’s Domestic Politics: State of the Republic under Modi.” Ms. Laraib Farhat, Assistant Research Officer at IRS, presented on the topic, “India’s Foreign Policy Narratives under Modi.”
The discussion was concluded with a fruitful exchange of views between both the institutes on internal politics of India, its foreign policy and regional and global approach.
