ISSI holds Virtual Meeting with iSAS, Singapore

Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) held an introductory virtual meeting with Institute of South Asian Studies (iSAS) at the National University of Singapore on February 22, 2022. Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, Director-General ISSI led the ISSI team, while Associate Prof Iqbal Singh Sevea led the iSAS delegation. Meanwhile, Madam Rukhsana Afzaal, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Singapore also joined the meeting.
During the meeting, heads of both institutes introduced their respective research organisations, and held a discussion of prospective research and dialogue collaboration between two sides. As leading national research institutes, both sides identified areas of mutual collaboration for policy research and dialogue based on shared interests.
Meanwhile, Madam High Commissioner lent her full support to both research institutes as they deepen their bilateral cooperation.
China-Pakistan Study Centre, led by Dr. Talat Shabbir was the host of the meeting.
