Recovering Pakistan

Pakistan is a big country with too many big problems at the moment that are hitting us all in the face every day. The list is too long and very familiar. Just to mention as a preface — terrorism, political apathy of the ruling elite, their corruption and questionable legitimacy, law and order, and something nobody likes to talk about, the ballooning population with a heavy youth bulge. All these problems and many more have kept the country down, under, and on the brink of failure. Actually, some of the major actors in the Pakistani drama of power politics for decades have been deliberately working hard to keep the country unstable, ungovernable and in perpetual crisis. While they and their masters benefit from the chaos, we, the common Pakistanis, suffer and pay the cost. Is there a way out?
