Speculation on N-programme, Kashmir has died down: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said the speculation about a nuclear deal with the United States, forcing Pakistan to limit its nuclear weapons programme, and on the Kashmir issue have died down as the joint statement issued at the conclusion of his US visit mentioned no such thing.

The prime minister said the Pakistan-US relationship that has seen many ups and downs over the years got a fresh impetus with his visit, as the US reiterated enduring pledges of cooperation and announced new initiatives on trade, clean energy and education for women.
