TOP CIVIL, MILITARY BRASS TO TAKE IT UP WITH KABUL EARNESTLY

Tuesday, September 22, 2015 – Islamabad—As strong links of gruesome attacks on Army Public School and Badaber Air Base have been established with TTP elements in Afghanistan. Top civil and military brass decided on Monday to take it up with Kabul earnestly and intensively with a demand to flush out such terrorists from its soil.
The security matters within the country and on eastern and western borders were on the table in the first meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after Badaber tragic event held here on Monday. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Bajwa, Director General Military Operations (DGMO) Major Gen Aamir Riaz and Director General Military Intelligence (DGMI) Major Gen Nadeem Zaki attended the meeting.
