Shaher Bano was a Research Associate at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad. She holds an MPhil in Political Science from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the same institution. She is currently pursuing a second MPhil in Gender Studies at the University of the Punjab.
With professional experience in academia, she has served as a faculty member at Lahore Garrison University, where she taught for one year, contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate instruction in social studies. She has two research publications to her credit.
Her research focuses on India’s defense, security, and strategic issues, India-Afghanistan relations, and Nepal within the broader context of South Asian geopolitics and regional security dynamics.
