The four-day Pakistan-India crisis from May 6 to 10, 2025, has generated several assessments from Pakistani, Indian, and Western analysts. While the analyses from Pakistani and Indian experts can be expected to be partisan, a more objective, realistic, and balanced analysis should have emerged from “neutral” observers. However, a close reading of the assessments from four of the leading experts from the Anglo-American strategic community demonstrates a clear bias in India’s favour. This underscores the “Group Think” among Western experts based on the entrenched pro-Indian stance of their establishments, driven by the U.S./Western strategic alliance with India.
