On 3 November 2025, foreign ministers from Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Pakistan, Indonesia and other Muslim-majority states met in Istanbul to deliberate on Gaza’s fragile truce and the way forward. Hosted by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the meeting marked Ankara’s latest diplomatic effort to coordinate regional responses to the humanitarian crisis and to establish a common position on Gaza’s future governance.[1]
On the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar said, “Pakistan will emphasise the need for the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement, the complete Israeli withdrawal from the Occupied Palestinian Territory, especially Gaza, as well as the provision of unfettered humanitarian assistance to the Palestinians and the reconstruction of Gaza.”[2]
