Visit – Media Delegation

China-Pakistan Study Centre (CPSC) at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) hosted a media delegation on December 9, 2020. Participants joined the meeting both physically and virtually.
Those present on the occasion included: Ambassador Khalid Mahmood, Chairman BOG; Director General ISSI, Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry; Ms.Wajiha Butt; Mr. Murtaza Sarwar; Mr. Yasir Janjua; Ms. Sam Dada; Ms, Amna Malik; Mr. Asim Nawaz; Ms. Zaryab HUM News; Mr. Farid Rais; Mr. Hanif Rehman; Mr. Adeel Warraich; Mr. Usama Arshad; Ms. Sumaira Khan; Mr. Qasim Shah; Mr.Saeed Soomro; Mr. Saghir Ahmed; Mr. Iqbal Baloch; Mr. Habib Paracha; Mr. Abdullah Kahloon; Mr.Noman Tabani; Mr.Adnan Khan; Mr.Fawad Ahmed; Mr. Aman Shah and others.
Director China-Pakistan Study Centre, Dr. Talat Shabbir, briefed the participants about the working of ISSI, its institutional accomplishments and also shared future proposals.
Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, DG, ISSI, thanked participants of the media delegation for their visit to ISSI. Ambassador Chaudhry emphasised on the role of media in building the right narrative for Pakistan. He also apprised the media delegation on the emerging regional and international geopolitical situation and its impact on Pakistan.
Later, an interactive session was held between the participants and DG, ISSI.
Ambassador Khalid Mahmood, Chairman BOG ISSI, concluded the session by thanking the delegation for visiting ISSI.
