Three highway projects to connect Pakistan with Tajikistan approved

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Tajikistan on Friday approved three highway projects to connect both the countries through land route. Tajikistan also assured Pakistan its resolute support for the infrastructure projects under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), providing greater connectivity between Pakistan and Tajikistan, and completion of the CASA-1000 project.

Approval was given to Gwadar-Peshawar-Kabul-Kunduz-Dushanbe route, Khunjerab-Kalasu-Murghab route and Chitral-Eshkahem-Dushanbe route to connect both the countries.
