Ms. Maliha Tariq

South Asia

Maliha Tariq is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad (ISSI). Her primary focus is on issues of substate violence in the South Asian region, particularly in Pakistan, and her other research interests include regional energy security and political risk analysis. Maliha is a graduate of the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and earned her Master’s degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 2013. She has previously worked as a Research Associate at the Center for Security Studies at Georgetown University and the Middle East Institute in Washington, D.C.
