Sardar Jahanzaib Ghalib

Sardar Jahanzaib is serving as a Research Associate at the Arms Control and Disarmament Centre (ACDC), ISSI. He has previously worked as a as lecturer Of International Relations at NUML ISLAMABAD, Research Assistant at Kashmir Institute of International Relations Islamabad (KIIR) and CLAS. He holds an MPhil in International Relations (2023) and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the School of Politics and International Relations (SPIR) at Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad in 2023. His educational journey began with Secondary and Intermediate Education at Cadet College Palandri Azad Kashmir (2011-2016).

Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his contributions and achievements. He received the National Youth Award from the Government of Pakistan in 2021 and the Best Researcher Award at the Kashmir Institute of International Relations in 2020-21. He also earned the Pride of Performance at Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad in 2022 and an Honorary Mention from the university’s Directorate of Student Affairs in 2021. Winner of the Higher Education Commission Pakistan 19th All Pakistan Inter-University Declamation Competition, 2017, Winner of the British High Commission’s The Great Debate, 2016, Pakistan Human Rights Commission’s Best Debater award, Best English Debater of Gomal University D.I. Khan Umeed-e-Sahar Debate, 2019 His teaching portfolio includes courses on State and Human Security, Contemporary Global Conflicts and Peace, International Relations Theories, International Politics of the Middle East, Arms Control & Disarmament, and International Relations and Current Affairs.
