RIO DE JANEIRO: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif visited the Brazil Army Headquarters on Tuesday.He was presented a guard of honour and 19-gun salute. General Raheel Sharif met with Brazil’s army commander. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual professional interest and military-to-military relations were discussed during the meeting. The army chief also held a meeting with Chief of Joint Staff Brazil Armed Forces, General Jose Carlos De Nardi and discussed regional security, emerging challenges and training exchanges. Nardi lauded Pakistan Army’s professionalism and operational achievements specially in on-going counter terrorism operations.
