LONDON: Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman has said that Pakistan Air Force personnel are playing a leading role in providing information about the exact nature of the damage caused by the earthquake.

In an exclusive interview with Geo News here, the air chief said that the PAF helicopters equipped with surveillance cameras are being utilised to get pictures in the affected far flung areas to determine the full extent of the damaged caused by the quake. “The PAF is already doing that but we will get the real picture of the full scale of the devastation a little later. We are providing these pictures to the government to help deal with the aftermath of the disaster,” the air chief said adding that the C-130 and helicopters are taking relief equipment to the affected areas
