The Centre for Afghanistan, Middle East and Africa (CAMEA), at the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad (ISSI) held a meeting with a delegation from the Kabul Institute of Peace (KIP), Kabul, Afghanistan.
The meeting was attended by Director General ISSI, Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, Director CAMEA, Ms. Amina Khan and members of the CAMEA team. The KIP Delegation included the Chairman KIP, Sardar Nadir Naim and Mr. Hashim Pashtun, Director of Research and Analysis and KIP’s Representative in Pakistan.
Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, Director General ISSI, gave a presentation about the working of the Institute and briefed the KIP delegation about the scope of its activities. There was a discussion on the possible areas of collaboration, which included joint research, institutional dialogue and others.
