The massacre in Pakistan is a loss on several fronts

401

The massacre of more than 20 people, mostly students and faculty, at Bacha Khan University in Pakistan recently was a major loss on several counts. It was a horrific loss of innocent lives, and it was a shocking loss of a hope for peace in a nation heavily torn by ethnic and religious strife.

It was a concerning loss for higher learning. Pakistan desperately struggles to retain its brightest minds from moving abroad.
