The Institute of Strategic Studies aims to institutionalise the National Security Conference as an annual event to promote and share scholarship on the contemporary national security problems. We are convening the First conference with a subtitle—Narratives of National Security on November 25-26, 2014 at the Institute. In this conference we hope to analyse and review the existing narratives of the national security debate in Pakistan, covering both traditional and non-traditional security threats that are debated and theorized in the security literature on Pakistan.
We will welcome abstracts of papers on any of the themes of the conference listed in the concept note. The deadline for submission of abstract is 15th October 2014.
